GorillaEats!
Gorilla
Gorilla sounds like guerrilla, more specifically taken from the term Guerrilla Marketing. I wanted my app to be more laid back and be a cheaper alternative compared to other big companies like Grab or FoodPanda. Other than that, I chose to have “Gorilla” in the name to ensure that marketing will be a breeze having a mascot and everything.
Eats!
Well first and foremost, I want people, when they see my application on the App Store, to know what the app is all about the first time they see it and having “Eats!” clearly displays what the application does.
GorillaEats!
Mobile Application
1. A “Dine-In” option during checkout
During checkout when you are buying something, there will be an option for you to choose to dine-in where you will be able to reserve a table through the app.
Having this will encourage more people to go back to dining in as if COVID never really happened and will definitely help a lot of businesses again as from what we saw during the peak of the COVID-19Pandemic, a majority of food businesses around the globe has seen a drop in sales and revenue causing some to ultimately close down due to COVID.

2. A point system
Whenever you complete a transaction, depending on how much you have spent, you will be able to earn a certain amount of points to spend to be able to earn discounts and vouchers.
In order to encourage people to keep using GorillaEats! I will be implementing a point system.
3. A hassle-free way to buy your favourite foods
With the way I have designed the User Experience in the application, browsing and choosing what to buy is a breeze.
The main purpose of the application is to order food with a few simple clicks. So having a quick and easy way to order food will help encourage people to comeback when they see how seamless the ordering process is

Smart Watch App
1. Being able to choose all your favourites from the convenience of your own wrist.
For my Smart Watch version of Gorilla Eats! The only things that you will be able to order are some of your favourite things to order from various restaurants that you will be able to set yourself in the mobile application
2. A map indicating where your delivery driver is
Similarly, to the mobile application, whenever you checkout you will be automatically prompted to a map that will clearly indicate the delivery time and delivery address and your delivery driver. Along with an approximation of where the driver is.
